1. Klik Start
2. Klik Control Panel
3. Klik Network connections
4. Klik Create a new connection, Next
5. Pilih Connect to the internet, Next
6. Pilih Set up my connection manually, Next
7. Pilih Connect using a broadband connection that requires a user name and password, Next
8. Masukkan ISP Name: Speedy, Next
9. Masukkan user name (nmrspeedy@telkom.net) dan password, Next
10. Kalau mau dibuat shortcut di desktop, centang Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop, Finish!

Windows Vista

1. Klik Start
2. Klik Connect to
3. Klik Set up a connection or network
4. Pilih Connect to the Internet, Next
5. Kalau sudah ada koneksi yang lain, pilih Set up a new connection anyway
6. Create a new connection, Next
7. Pilih Broadband (PPPoE)
8. Masukkan user name (nmrspeedy@telkom.net) dan password, beri nama koneksi Speedy
9. Langsung klik Connect
10. Connected!

4. Klik TCP/IP, Apply Now
5. Klik PPPoE, dicentang
• Service Provider: Telkom

• Apply Now

4. Configure: Create PPPoE Service…

• PPPoE Service Name: Speedy
• Account Name: (nmrspeedy@telkom.net)

• Remember this password; untuk menyimpan password
• Apply

3. Cari VPI/VCI: 8/81, klik Edit
4. ATM PVC Configuration, VPI=8; VCI=81, Service Category: UBR Without PCR, Next
5. Connection Type PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE), Encapsulation Mode LLC/SNAP-BRIDGING, Next
6. Masukkan PPP Username: (Nomorspeedy@telkom.net); PPP Password: (Password speedy); PPPoE Service Name: Speedy, Next

Langkah - langkah penangganan, buat koneksi dial speedy baru:

7. Pilih connect using a broadband connection that requires a username and password -> NEXT

8.ISP Name:speedy -> NEXT

9.Username:1311XXXXXX@telkom.net

Password:XXXXXXX -> NEXT

10.Check list (centang) Add a shortcut to this connection to my dekstop.

11.Klik Finish.

12.Klik icon speedy di dekstop

13.Klik connect

Langkah 1: Nyalakan Modem ADSL

1.Pastikan Lampu adsl di modem ON (tdk blinking) sebelum di dial

Langkah 2 : Reset winsock TCP/IP

1.klik start -> klik Run -> ketik netsh winsock reset lalu tekan enter

2.saat command prompt window muncul kembali, restart computer

3.Coba ping ke Modem kembali Lalu coba Login Ke speedy

Langkah 3: setting Modem adsl

1.Masuk Ke Modem ketik Gateway Modem via Browser exp: 192.168.1.1

- Pastikan : VPI : 8 / VCI : 81

- Encapsulation : LLC

- Tipe Koneksi : Bridge

**If you choose to put username & password there just double clik explorer
**If you not choose to put username & password there you have to create new connection at Network Connection

6.Create New Connection (Bridge) See here..>>

7.Than Next :

* Click Submit

* Click Save Configuration

Next : Save Reboot ….

1.Login To : http ://192.168.1.254

2.User name = admin
Password = password
Click -> OK

3.Click : Quick Start

4.Edit Connection :
Encapsulation = PPPoE LLC

5.Click : - Submit

Explorer ketik : http://192.168.1.1

2. Username : admin & Password : epicrouter

3. Click : OK
